Strawberry Margarita

Yield: 1 margarita
- 1½ ounces blanco tequila (I prefer Milagro Silver)
- 1 ounce freshly squeezed orange juice
- juice from ½ lime (roughly ½ ounce)
- 1 teaspoon strawberry jam
- strawberry / lime slices for garnish
- Add tequila, OJ, lime juice and strawberry jam to a blender, and pulse until smooth.
- Let the mixture rest for a minute or two, until the foam has disappeared.
- Pour into a glass filled with ice, and garnish with strawberry and/or lime slices.
If you prefer a sweeter margarita, you may want to increase the strawberry jam to 1½ or 2 teaspoons.
TO MAKE FROZEN: add 3 or 4 ice cubes to the blender with the remaining ingredients, and pulse until smooth. Pour into glass, and serve immediately.
